Here in this Kohler Santa Rosa review, we will help you to find the best toilet according to your needs. It is a single-piece toilet with the tank blended into the toilet with an easy clean curve.
The height of the seat (which is included in the package), the shape of the bowl and the chrome trip lever for the 1.28 gallons per flush mean that the toilet is both ADA compliant and EPA Water Sense certified.
The AquaPiston flushing system and the fully glazed trap way both combine to give the Santa Rosa toilet a highly efficient cleaning action with a single flush.

Kohler Santa Rosa Review
Kohler Santa Rosa Design / Materials
The one-piece Santa Rosa is made from vitreous china. All the corners are rounded to help with easy cleaning and avoid any tight corners where dirt may accumulate. The flush is actuated by a chrome trip lever.
Kohler Santa Rosa Toilet Flushing System
This toilet uses Kohler’s AquaPiston flushing system. This system delivers the 1.28 gallons of water with an added boost, increasing both the power and effectiveness of the flush.
The fully glazed trap Aids the flush in clearing the toilet with a single flush. To explain how this system works, take a look at this video.
Santa Rosa Toilet Cleaning
The toilet will clean even a large amount of waste completely on a single flush. Externally, the smooth curves of the toilet prevent any hard to reach places where dirt can accumulate.
The toilet does not have any special coatings in the bowl, so almost any standard toilet cleaning agents can be used for cleaning.
Consumption
This toilet uses only 1.28 gallons of water for a full flush. This low water consumption combined with the ability to remove a large volume of waste gives the Santa Rosa EPA Water Sense certification.
In many municipalities, having a Water Sense toilet means that you are eligible for rebates on your water bills. Check out the EPA Water Sense website here, to check whether you are eligible for the rebates.
Ease of Installation
For installation, this toilet needs a standard 12” rough-in. To install you need to have a new wax seal and, depending on the condition of the existing, bolts, new fixing bolts, and nuts.
The installation is similar to any other standard single piece toilet and can be completed with minimal DIY skills. For full installation details, take a looks at Kohler’s installation guide.

Hello, I’d like to know the type of leakage problem with the Santa Rosa model. Would the type of leakage this model has cause water damage to the ceiling of the floor below? Do those made lately still have this problem?
thanks

LOOKING FOR ELONGATED TOILET POSSIBLE DUAL FLUSH, BUT RIM MUST BE 15″ OR LESS IN HEIGHT.
BEFORE YOU BUY THE KOHLER SANTA ROSA TOILET, CHECK TO SEE HOW MUCH A REPLACEMENT TOILET SEAT COSTS. WE BOUGHT THIS TOILET OVER 10 YEARS AGO FROM HOME DEPOT. BEAUTIFUL TOILET, GREAT PRICE. NOW WE NEED A NEW TOILET SEAT BECAUSE THE HINGE BROKE. COST? $199 FROM KOHLER, IN THE $160’S ELSEWHERE. THE TOILET SEAT IS ALMOST AS MUCH AS THE TOILET!!!! THAT IS CRAZY. A REPUTABLE COMPANY LIKE KOHLER SHOULD NOT BE CHARGING SO MUCH FOR A TOILET SEAT.
Ludmila, the Kohler Brevia toilet seat will fit the Santa Rosa Mdl # K20110/K-20111. It around $20-$30 depending on where you purchase. Not sure why you think you need to spend $200 on a toilet seat.
